Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Marrakech
Airport pickup and transfer to your family riad. Evening at Jemaa el-Fna square with street performers, acrobats and storytellers — the kids will love it!
Day 2 – Marrakech Family Tour
Majorelle Garden (kids love the exotic plants and turtles), Bahia Palace, souk treasure hunt for kids, and a hands-on Moroccan cooking class where the whole family makes tagine together.
Day 3 – Atlas Mountains & Berber Villages
Day trip to the Atlas Mountains. Visit Berber villages, meet local families and children, ride mules up the mountain trails. Kids discover how Berber families live in the mountains.
Day 4 – Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Cross the High Atlas, visit Aït Benhaddou Kasbah — kids love discovering it was the filming location for Game of Thrones and Gladiator! Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Day 5 – Ouarzazate to Merzouga Sahara
Drive through the Draa Valley and Todra Gorge to the Sahara dunes. Family camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset.
Day 6 – Sahara Family Day
Family camel ride at sunrise, sandboarding down the dunes, visit to a nomad family in the desert, overnight in luxury desert camp with Berber music and stargazing.
Day 7 – Merzouga to Fes via Ifrane
Drive through the cedar forests of Ifrane — spot the famous Barbary macaques (Barbary apes) that roam freely in the forest. Kids absolutely love this! Arrive in Fes.
Day 8 – Fes & Departure
Morning in Fes medina — the tanneries and souks fascinate children. Airport transfer and farewell.
